We have a fantastic event planned! The Chesapeake Rotary, in conjunction with the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission, is having their fourth annual Chesapeake Spring Arts Festival April 20th and 21st , 2024. Voted 6th in the Nation by their artists in Sunshine Artist Magazine in 2023, this show is one not to be missed! It’s a family-friendly weekend event with fun for everyone! The show is held at Chesapeake City Park at 900 City Park Drive in Chesapeake, VA.
Over 130 artists have signed on to display their artwork this year. Coming from a total of seven different states and including a plethora of local talent, this show will have fantastic works of art for sale. All the popular mediums will be represented from wood and paintings to glass and ceramics! Artists are vying for $5,500 in various awards including one $1,500 Best In Show winner! There will also be glass blowing and wood turning demonstrations going on all weekend and a children's craft activity tent.
Music entertainment is planned both days including the wildly popular local band The Deloreans playing the best songs from the 80's. Beer and wine sales are available and a variety of food trucks will be on hand as well.We have a fantastic event planned!
