A Black History Month and Scholarship Celebration
The Chesapeake P.E.A.R.L.S. Foundation, Inc, in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Omicron Pi Omega Chapter, is excited to announce our 2023 Black History Month and Scholarship Celebration featuring a conversation with Roland S. Martin.
The 2023 National Theme, established by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH), is BLACK RESISTANCE. We invite you to engage in conversation with Roland S. Martin, standing in solidarity with those who have demanded justice and those who envisioned a more just and equitable America.
Our goal is to provide scholarship funding to local students in the Chesapeake, Virginia community. All proceeds collected will benefit our scholarship and community Service programs. The Chesapeake P.E.A.R.L.S. Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, and your donation is tax-deductible.
