Kick off Big Sky's Haunted Peaks Festival weekend with the 5th Annual Skull & Roses Ball. Cosmic Possum "raise the dead" with two full sets of Grateful Dead covers! Costumes a highly encouraged and prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Skull & Roses King, Skull & Roses Queen, People's Choice, and best Dead (Grateful Dead referenced) costumes.

Come early and grab a bite to eat at Tips Up before the show. Then get ready to dance the night away to live music.  Please note AGES 21+

Cosmic Possum – Hailing from Park City, Utah, the musicians in Cosmic Possum are from somewhere else, but found a home in the mountains. The band is comprised of veterans of various other Summit County and Utah bands, including drummer Ron Reilly (the Wyld, Silver Strike, the Detonators), guitarist Doug Worthen (The Pranksters, Silver King, Kaleb Austin, Bone), bassist Drew Frink (Small House Strings), guitarist Matt Nagel (Silver Strike, Shane Lee Band, Black River Brethren) and organist Keith Pennell (Midnight Moonlight). The band performs a selection of songs that span the career of the Grateful Dead, along with a handful of other classic tunes that let the crowd know that the magic is in the jam, following the moment and bringing the audience along for the trip. Recent performances include Heber Market on Main, Park City Arts Fest, Canyons Village and the Newpark Concert Series. Cosmic Possum also played a successful two-show run last winter at Tips Up, exposing the Big Sky audience to their brand of cosmic rock and roll.
